What is the RHA?

The Roger Hatchuel Academy is the only place in the world where a select group of international students can meet, see the best work in advertising from across the globe, and learn from inspirational industry leaders to help them become the great advertising professionals of the future.
Each year a group of students (18-23 years old) from around the world who are studying advertising, communications or marketing with a view to working in the advertising industry are selected by the Festival Representatives in conjunction with a local school, university or foundation, and are invited to attend the seven days of the Festival.
Under the guidance of the Academy’s Dean, Richard Boyko, Director and Professor of VCU Brandcenter, and accompanied throughout the week by the Academy’s tutor, Clive Challis, Head of the Advertising Course at Central Saint Martins in London, the students follow an intensive schedule of activities during Festival week, learning about industry trends, attending discussions, tutorials, daily training sessions and Festival activities, as well as having the exclusive opportunity to learn from the Academy’s high-profile guest speakers.
